flying my paraglider into Big Sur this summer

Posted by Picasa
Nick flew off Wildcattle the day after he turned
17, the youngest pilot in history to fly a paraglider at Big Sur.
We were probably also the only father/son pilots that flew
paragliders at Big Sur. Pretty cool, easy flight.

My second favorite toy after my paraglider is this Mercedes 300 SEL,
I really enjoy driving it along our coast line down in Puna.
Just a beautiful car, very rare, has the same body as the Mercedes Benz 600 Series going way back to the 60's was once voted the best sedan ever.
Only problem here in Hawaii is that we don't have an autobahn to go fast. Go 80 and go to jail. Oh well, the stretch from Volcano National Park to Ka'u is pretty fast..
